Our client is looking for a Software Support Specialist to become an application expert providing client support for escalated software issues. Candidates should be interested in working in a fast-paced environment where software applications are central to the business rather than supporting the business and agile means quickly delivering valuable new features driven by continuous customer feedback. The Software Support Specialist must be able to work independently, have good writing and communication skills, take initiative on quality/speed/improvement of individual work, learn constantly about our markets/customers/products, apply problem-solving skills, and contribute to team success while growing your skills and experience.
Monitor and prioritize the Help Desk mailbox, chat, and phone calls in a timely manner from internal/external users experiencing problems with software, printer and other computer related technologies.
Interact with internal and external customers who may not be technically inclined or understand the technology.
Supports technical issues by remote desktop management tools.
Track and maintain tickets through the entire lifecycle.
Learn and become an expert on application features, configuration, and supported third party software.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and critical incidents through research and analysis.
Work with product management to report and prioritize bug fixes.
Some skills we expect you to possess or have a willingness to learn:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Use ZenDesk, Jira and other systems to manage your work.
Ability to create simple SQL queries with Microsoft.
Prior experience with XML & JSON a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
