The Project Manager works closely with various groups to manage IT projects for B2E/B2C global portal and other web services. Successful completion of these duties includes the following activities:
  • Plan project scope, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Identify and gather resources for project tasks.
  • Develop project teams and facilitate communication.
  • Portal or Online application experience preferred.
  • Negotiate and set expectations with customers.
  • Liaison with project sponsors and IT Functional Teams.
  • Track project timelines and milestones to ensure timely project conclusion.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure quality and project success.
  • Identify, escalate, and ensure resolution of issues that hinder project success.
  • Work with other teams to identify and manage project dependencies.
  • Deliver progress/status reports to project stakeholders and leadership, occasionally via formal presentation.
  • Working within IT processes and methodologies.
  • Serves as MS Project and scheduling SME to the project team and responsible for maintaining project schedules
  • Works with team leads to develop individual schedules and task dependencies
  • Provides weekly status updates to team leads and project management team
  • Defines scheduling update process and method
  • Ensures weekly schedule update compliance and collects weekly plan and timesheet updates from teams
  • Assists with preparation of all project reporting; Monitors and reports on project and program/release progress and prepare variance analyses.
  • Assist in establishing links between medium to large releases and projects to ensure all milestones, interdependencies are identified and communicated by developing and analyzing integrated release plans.
  • Manage issues and action items to closure, establishing priorities, deliverables, and due dates.
  • Assists with budget and internal accounting functions, provides cost benefits analyses when required, and assists with preparation of all requisite reports
  • Assists with presentations to leadership committees
  • Assists with internal project communications and participates in development and review of firm-wide project communications
  • Assists in process improvement efforts and may have responsibility for implementing one or more aspects of the project/program.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
  • Exhibit strong understanding of MS Office programs; Must be very proficient in MS Project Professional
  • Excellent Project Management skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff
  • Adherence to all US IT PM Standards and Practices.

  • Formal project management training / PMP (or equivalent) certification.
  • Manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Follow documented procedures and guidelines outlined by function and the firm.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing technology projects or work streams in large, complex, distributed environments (preferred).

Additional Information:
Demonstrates proven experience and success in project management roles including the use of traditional or agile methodologies to deliver Technology solutions with extensive knowledge in the following areas:
  • Project Management tools such as HP PPM, MS TFS, Rally, MS Project, etc.
  • Project Financial Management using tools such as HPP PPM, Excel, etc. to monitor Budget, Actuals, ETC, EAC and related variances
  • Technology solution delivery for large projects/programs through a complete agile development lifecycle (backlog prioritization, sprint planning, tracking burn-down/velocity, etc...).
  • Vendor management (onshore and offshore) including contractual stipulations and obligations established in Service Level Agreements and risk management/escalation
  • Leading cloud-based implementations and upgrades
  • Continuous Integration and DevOps
Demonstrates proven experience and success in delivering technology projects with extensive skills and abilities including but not limited to:
  • Applying project management and agile knowledge to identify, escalate, and remove team impediments that jeopardize sprint goals
  • Influencing project team members to identify and address project issues, including leadership and interdependent teams, and to promote self-directed teams
  • Teaching and coaching application development teams to adopt continuous delivery practices and other lean/agile modeling techniques.
  • Creating and maintaining sprint schedules based on information from the vendor and PwC task information. Incorporates updates and changes to the integrated project plan and prepares reports and presentations for executive levels.
  • Managing large software development and IT infrastructure projects and working in large program environments
  • Collaboratively working with all team and vendor project resources on projects of a complex or mission critical nature
  • Collaboratively managing Sponsor/customer expectations and interacting with sponsor on a regular basis as it relates to software and IT infrastructure implementations.
  • Managing all SOW deliverables and reporting project costs and forecasts on a regularly scheduled basis to project leadership and making recommendations to improve project effectiveness.
  • Managing internal and external project resources considering quality/acceptance of SOW deliverables internally and externally
  • Collaboratively managing Sponsor/customer expectations and interacting with sponsor on a regular basis as it relates to software and IT infrastructure implementations
  • Applying knowledge of the Firm to the Project Management activities to comply with Firm policies and standards
