Our client, a major Health IT consulting firm, is seeking a MEDITECH POM / CPOE Project Manager to join them as a full-time consultant/employee. Will perform various consulting engagements including workflow analysis, user requirements, implementation, training, assessment, optimization, upgrades, etc. Must have at least 5 years of industry experience with at least 3 years of MEDITECH Provider Order Management (POM / CPOE) module experience. Must have prior implementation (dictionary building) experience and solid understanding of clinical work flows. Top preference for Client Server 5.6 experience. Experience on both Client Server and MAGIC platforms is a plus. Any experience on 6.0 is highly desired. Candidates with a clinical background and appropriate experience will be given priority consideration. Prior consulting experience is a definite plus.
Position involves 80% overnight travel with typical schedule of working on-site at client Monday-Thursday and working remotely from home on Friday. There is no need to relocate for this position. Competitive base salary, bonus potential, and benefits package.
