Manufacturing organization is looking for this Business Analyst to communicate with both manufacturing and IT.
This position will be responsible for software selection, development, and implementation into existing business systems as needed. The right person for this job should have an understanding of manufacturing principles, VB.Net and Manufacturing ERP systems and a formalized project methodology. Should know how to program as well as partner closely with business to develop new systems. Will be responsible for software selection as well as development and implementation.
MUST HAVE: - 3 -5 years’ experience as a business analyst in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adapt to flexible work hours as required for after-hours support.
- Ability to deliver support within the allotted customer service level agreement.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision in a self-managed team environment.
- Ability to communicate and present ideas /concepts to all levels of management
- Experience implementing software solutions in a multi-site environment
- Extensive experience managing projects using a formalized project methodology
- Understanding of SDLC and RUP methodology
- Experience supporting and implementing business solutions for the ERP Visual Manufacturing platform
- Prior experience developing SharePoint solutions preferred.
